How to build an unbreakable fitness routine

Unbreakable Fitness Routines for Millennial Moms: The Key to Achieving Your Fitness Goals in 2023!

It’s Chase Williams, your personal trainer and nutritionist, and I am so excited to share some valuable tips on how to build unbreakable fitness routines with you. I know that with the start of a new year, we all have a renewed sense of motivation to start fresh and set new goals. I know for me it always gives me a new groove, and I am so excited for the new year. But without a solid routine, nothing will be achieved. Why is it that few months in we lose momentum lose, lose track of the goal, and fall back into our old ways.
That’s why I want to share with you three main topics that will help you take your current fitness journey to the next level in 2023. This year can be different, will be different, and it’s up to you to take it to the next level.

Set specific achievable goals

First things first, let’s talk about setting specific and achievable goals. I know you’re hearing this a lot right now, but there is a difference in how you set your goals. A general goal is something like “I want to lose weight” or “I want to feel good in my skin”, but these are not going to motivate you when you’re about to eat cereal at 9pm. Instead, get specific with your goals. Give yourself a deadline and an actual number to work towards. For example, “I want to deadlift 150 pounds by the end of June.” This is measurable, achievable and gives you a clear goal to work towards. And don’t forget to make it fun! Set a goal to run a 5k with your bestie, or to finally be able to do a handstand! PS: did these with my oldest the other day and she was so excited to be playing with me… oh and when did that start to feel funky in my body?

build consistency

Next, let’s talk about building consistency in your routine. Consistency is key when it comes to achieving your fitness goals. It’s easy to start off strong and motivated, but it’s important to make sure you’re staying consistent in your routine. One way to do this is by setting a schedule and sticking to it. Whether it’s working out at the same time every day or setting specific days for different types of workouts, having a schedule will help you stay on track. And don’t forget to make it fun! Try new workouts, change your routine, switch up your gym, join a class.

Staying motivated?

Finally, let’s talk about staying motivated and accountable. It’s easy to lose motivation, but it’s important to find ways to stay accountable to yourself and your goals. One way to do this is by finding a workout buddy or joining a fitness group. Having someone to hold you accountable and share your journey with can make all the difference. And don’t forget to make it fun! Create a fitness challenge with your friends, make a bet with your partner, share your progress on social media.

I want to hear from you, millennial mama! What are your thoughts on building unbreakable fitness routines? Do you have any tips or tricks that have helped you in the past? Please feel free to drop a comment below and let me know what resonated with you. I’m here to support you and I can’t wait to see what you achieve in 2023!

Stay consistent, stay motivated, stay accountable, and most importantly, stay fun!
